Please read these terms and conditions before using this site.

By using this site you accept the Terms and Conditions.

Artisan Flooring Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, successors and assigns are referred to as “Artisan Flooring Ltd” in these Terms and Conditions.

Welcome to Artisan Flooring Ltd (“We, “Us” or “Artisan”). Please note that You, (“You” and “Your”) as a purchaser of Products made available through Artisan and Your use of products provided by Artisan” is subject to the following terms and conditions (“Terms”). You must be 18 years of age to purchase Products from Artisan. By using this site you accept the Terms and Conditions.

Privacy Policy

Personal details are collected for the transaction process and for confirmation of credit card details. This information will not be sold or released to third parties unless such disclosure is required by law or to outsource to companies who are required to hold such information. This includes but is not limited to hosting servers. We may use your information from time to time to notify you about special offers, new products and events. We do not keep your credit card details these are stored on the PAYSTATION secure server. If you do not wish to receive such information please contact us. Please inform us immediately if you believe there has been a breach of your privacy.

Sample Service

Artisan offer A5 samples of wallpaper for $5.00 including GST, packaging and freight in NZ to your door. There is a charge to ship samples overseas. We do recommend you buy a sample before purchasing as wallpaper colours may vary from those seen on your computer screen. Our wallpapers are handcrafted and a sample brings to life their unique tactile qualities.

To order a sample, browse the particular wallpaper or fabric you are interested in and click on the ‘Order Sample’ button. The samples [A5 size] will then be sent by standard mail in mainland NZ and by CourierPost overseas. Please note some wallpaper samples may not be immediately available and will need to be ordered from the supplier. We will endeavour to keep you updated if there are any delays.

Purchase Order

You can place an order on this website by clicking the “Add to Cart” buttons and by clicking the “View Cart” and “Continue to Check out” links. You are required to enter an email address and you will receive an email confirmation of your order. Your order may be unsuccessful due to unavailability of stock or your payment details being incorrect or not authorised.

If we foresee a delay in the delivery of your order, we will contact you directly by email. If your item is marked out of stock, please contact us and we will give you an estimate of the delivery date.

Our shopping cart accepts VISA and Mastercard.


We deliver across New Zealand by CourierPost and samples are sent via NZ Post unless you request otherwise. If you are ordering over 25 rolls of wallpaper, please contact us for alternative delivery charges.

Please make sure that your address details are correct as we may have to charge a redelivery fee if your delivery address details are incorrect or an additional Rural Delivery fee if RD status not originally stated in delivery address details.

Returns and Faulty Goods

We do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase, so please choose carefully. If the goods are faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a remedy. Before hanging wallpaper check each roll has the same batch number and check there is no visual difference or defects in the rolls. If in doubt do not hang the wallpaper and contact Artisan immediately, as we will not accept liability for a fault once the paper is hung on the wall. Fabric that has been cut to order may not be returned unless it is faulty, incorrect, or sent to you in error.

If you have purchased an exclusive wall covering that has been individually printed by craftsmen using traditional methods of printing, any slight imperfections in printing and colour matching are due to the human element involved and are part of the character of the design. Rolls are not returnable as they are custom printed.

If your goods arrive to you damaged or are otherwise faulty, please contact us within 3 days of receipt of the goods. Please keep the goods and all packaging in the same order that they arrived. We will arrange for the return of the damaged goods and for replacements to be sent to you.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all products are suitably packaged in order to prevent damage during return shipping. The customer must not write on or attach labels to the product being returned; otherwise, the return may not be accepted if it is returned as ‘Unopened Product’.

A copy of the original packing slip or invoice, or other proof of purchase, must be included with the returned product. If such proof of purchase is not provided with faulty goods, we may only be able to offer a replacement product, and not a refund or credit.

Restrictions on Use

You must not use the content of this site for any illegal purpose or in any manner inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions. You cannot, without the prior written consent of Artisan Ltd, copy, reproduce, recompile, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, frame, distribute, publish, display, perform, modify upload to, create derivative works from, transmit or in any way exploit this site, except as permitted by the Terms and Conditions or by law. You must not interfere or disrupt networks connected to this web site.

Intellectual Property Rights

This site includes copyright, trademarks, designs, images and text that is protected by law. Except as expressly authorised by Artisan Flooring Ltd use or misuse of this intellectual property is not permitted.

Sale of Goods

All Products are believed by Artisan to be of a quality suitable for the purpose and specification for which they are intended. Any defect should be reported to Artisan immediately it is discovered. All technical information in response to enquiry is given by Artisan in good faith. It will ultimately be for You to satisfy yourself as to the suitability of the product having regard to Your own particular situation and upon site conditions that are unknown to Artisan. The liability of Artisan will not exceed the value of the Products supplied. In particular, loss of profits and consequential, financial and other such losses are excluded.


You may have additional rights under warranties supplied by the manufacturer of the Products You order. Please contact us if You require further information. If Artisan discovers that a price was mis-stated or that a Product is out of stock, Artisan will either notify You by e-mail or give You the option of voiding the sale.

Pricing Changes

Artisan Ltd have the right to alter pricing on the website at anytime.


Artisan does not warrant that this web site is compatible with your equipment or that it is free of errors. Artisan is not liable for any damages arising out of your use or misuse of this site. Artisan reserves the right to correct and change the information on this site at any time.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are to be construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.


If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the other provisions will remain in force.
